Band Bio First formed in February 1983 under the original name: Velvet Hammer. I joined this band in early 1985 under the name: The Forgotten. I encouraged our band to undertake professional studio demo recordings in Summer 1985. Like Queen did on July 1985 at Wembley, we stole the Live Aid show in the Royal Hall, Alexandra Theatre, Bognor Regis on 28/09/1985 at 11:00 pm:
Track | Title | Event | Band Name | Notes | 1 | Lost Horizons | 28/09/1985 | The Forgotten | | 2 | Opaque Vision | 28/09/1985 | The Forgotten | | 3 | Your Hidden House | 28/09/1985 | The Forgotten | | 4 | The Gambler | 28/09/1985 | The Forgotten | | 5 | Baba O’Riley | 28/09/1985 | The Forgotten | © The Who from Who’s Next album 1971 |
Total Gig length: 20:00 This impressed a talent scout Andy from Island Records to offer us larger concert venues. In early 1986, we changed our band name to: Citadel. In September 1986, Dave leaves and Keith becomes our Lead Vocalist using headphones with suspended microphone. We finally established our band name as The ID.

Epilogue Our Band once met up in 1988 at Littlehampton for an inactive reunion. Dave went on to become an Optician. Dee got married and started a family in Portsmouth. Me, formed another band and subsequently went onto other creative pursuits. Keith pursued his music writing talent by joining or forming his own band. Phil went on to produce an album with another band based in London.
